Sick Day

My boys and I are having a t.v.-fest today. We’ve watched Spectacular Spiderman (not nearly as good as the old-time animated show) two episodes of American Gladiators, including the two hour finale championship episode. It’s a beautiful, crisp fall day today and I am guiltlessly skipping church and spending it in front of the television watching lots of LCD shows. Why do I feel okay with this? SuperGeek and Heyhey are at the football game today, and I have a giant inflated ball of snot threatening to explode inside my sinuses. Aside from the obvious discomfort, it’s kind of nice to be absolutely out of commission and doing stuff like writing my blog here without feeling bad about it.
The big question remains, though, how long can I stand my scrungy self before I take a shower? Only time will tell.
